Do You Ever Feel Like A Devil?

Do you ever feel like a bad person? Have you ever thought that people are just trying to be decent in order to hide their evilness? The reality can be cruel, but I intend to grasp it, whether glorious or tragic.

Humanity is never perfect, it is never flawless, On the contrary, it has holes, holes that are dark, holes that hide the evil side of the men. Maybe we are all bad person, because from time to time, the thoughts that possess insanity, blood and suffering would appear in our minds and we would fight against them. We resist them but it doesn’t mean that they would be erased, they are looking for a crack, waiting, learning, growing. And when it is time, they strike again, and we will have to put more efforts to control them. And one day, we will snap. So I question our humanity, are we good people? Or we are just pretending that we are good people?

You see I think human consciousness is a tragic misstep of evolution but also a wise step. Why I say it is a tragedy is because we become too self-aware, the world created us yet we are just an aspect of nature that is separated from itself. We are addicted to illusions, visions that would lead to a better future, and us becoming someone, but the fact is, we are no one, and we will always remain this state.

The reason I also said it is also a wise step is because human consciousness made us vigilant, intelligent, so that throughout the whole evolution, we don’t become predators' target, instead, we, ourselves become predators, tracking down targets. It helped us become more than just animals, it helped us become human, become something better, stronger.

But that strength would also lead to insanity and madness. People intend to abuse it, to overuse what they have, to achieve goals, to climb higher, and also to hurt others by any means possible.

We are the creation of both highest form of intelligence and the worst kind of madness. But it doesn’t mean that we are evil. But we can all be bad people.
